Sure, know what you mean. I grew up in a blue collar family, so no stranger to some of the choicer, more colorful colloquialisms. My Dad has quite an arsenal of expressions in his repertoire...ggg
Still, I much prefer civil, friendly exchanges...though admittedly, I do revert to familiar phrases on occasion, especially in times of need and for those most deserving! LOL!
I think your 5% incremental policy sounds reasonable, and added as you have said should keep you out of trouble. At least you have 20 opportunities to keep adding in at lower and lower prices. Perhaps removing profitable portions off the table as prices go back up would be an interesting mechanical method to reel in profits and allow you to re-invest again on subsequent pullbacks.
