This is a valid point if 1) you are near a trading house and want to trade on site or 2) are close enough to the trading house to trade remotely without incurring huge phone charges. If, on the other hand, you are like me and none of the above apply, your only choice is to trade over the net. The extra money I would make trading remotely with a day trading firm would be quickly spent on long distance phone bills. Datek is the only logical choice for people who need to trade on the net. All other brokers accessable on the net are worthless for day trades as as far as I know. If you know of better options, I'd like to hear them. Hank
