lee:
Since Doc told you last week about this :)
. Work the strongest sector. If the pharmaceuticals are strong, look for a pharmaceutical. Find one that's in an solid uptrend; the 10 and 20 day moving averages should be rising, the stock should be above the rising trendlines, the stock should not be overbought. The ADX, the MACD and the stochastics should be confirming

I decided I needed a booster shot in that area too.

So which sector? How do I know which sectors go up at a time like this? Review the stocks in the sector again. Which stock in the sector? What time frame?
Plot the charts and look at RSI. Sheesh when do I get to go golfing and fishing!?
I don't have time to look at all of that and then by the time I do I am confused anyway.

But then this:
I had not been to this site or this area of it in some time.
They have done some cool things there lately, just for that problem.

Use the upper left drop down:
View them by RSI? ok done
View them by BB width? For volatilty. ok done
View them by BB position? hummm interesting. ok done

Use the slider on the bottom:
Oh let's just look at say the last 10 days.

stockcharts.com

I liked this view too. Selected the line chart. bottom left.
Just click off the ones that are flat and leave the ones "moving" up or down.
(Psst notice those two on the bottom that have started to curl up )

stockcharts.com

Ok I think it will be golfing today and fishing tomorrow!

Have a good weekend,

Roger
