Dennis-- $3K of losses can be sold against regular income. I suspect more will take advantage of that than ever before. Certainly some will flush trash from the portfolio with losses to carry forward into better times. Mutual funds will certainly be dumping losers for potential winners. There will be few cap gains on funds this year too. Muted,, yes, but still there.
