I had an account with PCFN for 5 years and moved it around 2 months ago due to the high commissions. On the 20th they are supposed to be lowering their commissions to $20 per transaction.

Some of their High Points:

-Fast executions. Under a minute at any time of day.
-Can buy within the spread most of the time.
-Will get you price improvement if available.
-Can trade options, stocks, mutual funds.
-Can buy stocks without having the funds in your account that day.
-Real time quotes & research
-Has a teletrade system
-No fee IRA

Some Negatives:

-Slow to update your statement page.
-Customer service is responsive but on occasion will give bad info.
-Confusing margin account balance page

I'm probably going to move my account back to them. I wish I knew they were going to lower the commissions before I transferred my account. But I was happy using them. My only gripe was with a paperwork screw up that took a bit to clear up. Other than that, no complaints in 5 years.
