August 19 - I've seen faster P4s and Athlons at both Best Buy and Circuit City, but they aren't in the ads.
Since 3 weeks ago, desktop prices have been flat or risen slightly, while many Notebooks dropped by $100 to
$200. I'm no longer sure these lists mean much, Certainly AMD was all but gone from advertising during much
of Q2, yet they sold record units. So, for whatever it's worth, here's what's being advertised....
