A collapse of the housing market? Can I by some puts on my house? Actually, there is a way to capitalize on this. Stick a for sale sign in you neighbor's yard. After you sell his house, move him into an apartment. A year later, buy his house back and move him back in. In effect, you are selling your neighbor's house short. PS: You may have to tranquilize him so he's none the wiser.. (VBG) :)
