Thanks KT and I might just take you up on the PM although I am on Slim Fast at the moment :-)
Under the circumstance she is doing as well as could be expected. She has been on weekly chemo
for almost 3 years now except for about a month in April when the DOCTORS ??? here stopped it
because some liver functions in the blood count got out of whack. They thought the chemo was causing
it. Thats when we went back to MDA and the doctors there said the reason the counts were the way they
were was because the tumors had started growing again. Sure enough, surprize, surprize, the doctors
at MDA knew more than the local Butchers. They put her in a study and the last liver scan in June showed
a large decrease in the size of the tumors. So they are headed in the right direction.
