TWY, you're an expert in these matters, right? How would you get 70nm gate lengths using 130nm design rules if the transistor gates aren't notched?

Intel's 0.13 micron process features 0.07 micron gate length transistors and six layers of copper inter-connect. Intel is breaking barriers to Moore's Law and has developed the world's fastest silicon transistor, switching at under a picosecond, and which is only 20nm in length.
