Aw, c'mon Kastel. I soak the dishes in the sink in hot soapy water, and then scrub the dishes and put them on the counter, and when they are all scrubbed clean, I rinse them in one swell foop and put them in a rack to dry. It can't take many gallons of water to rinse one sinkful of clean dishes. Not sure what 1,000 gallons of water costs, but it's pennies.

I think it would take several lifetimes before I spent the $1K that Mq's dishwasher costs.
