Kevin, This certain makes for a good study. I have always been under the impression that though a spirit goes out and entices the kings of the earth to invade Israel it does not succeed with ALL of the kings. Reading vs. 9 chapter 12 it reads ....I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. Note it doesn't say he will seek to destroy every single nation but only those coming against Jerusalem. I think the scriptures somewhere else mentions those specific nations that will involved but I can't place it right now, maybe someone else can help out.
