FWIW Stan, I wouldn't make the play. While I have no idea how much of your portfolio is represented with the 4500 shares you currently own, I consider it a substantial amount and if you were to get your 50% to 90% 2-year upside move, gains on the long position would already represent a major win. I'd be more inclined to research a couple of speculative tech stocks to gamble on. Two years out you could possibly obtain the gains the options strategy might net you, and in the process you'd diversify the risk and might have some fun to boot. If you're set on long-term options, then I'd forget buying the puts and simply buy a smaller number of leaps. All FWIW.
