Paul:

It was a topic this past week on the radio and it was in regards to the HBO Specials on Raven Training Camp.

One segment showed Billick meeting with a rook who didn't want to be at training camp any more.

The host of the radio program(Howard Eskin) thought Billick could have used better judgement and not have that part of the segment aired or filmed in the first place.

It was in his opinion that Billick was looking to show how compassionate he could be. Eskin proceeded to say he thought Billick was a fraud and if the Ravens fortune turns, he believes the players will bail on him quicker than you can snap your fingers.

A vast majority of the callers agreed with Eskin (which is unusual in itself). I was just wondering if this is being discussed in Baltimore area as well.

One of the callers mentioned that Sharpe, Siragusa & Ray Lewis also told HBO they wouldn't get any sound bites from them unless HBO paid each of them $50K each. (I think HBO settled for $8K for each).

P.S. My prediction for the Ravens is Super Bowl hangover and will finish with a 9-7 record. I can't see the D playing to the level it did last year. The offense will continue to struggle. Jamal Lewis shoes will be hard to fill and the improvement in QB (Grbac over Dilfer) won't offset the Lewis loss.
