*“ Intraday Investments Trading Summary for Friday, August 17, 2001”* Since the major indices stayed in a trading range for much of the day on Friday, it was a very light action day for us. However, by being selective and “cherry-picking,” we had a solid, profitable day and netted just under three points of profit. Here is a summary of our round-trip intraday trades: ERTS short + 0.94 and QQQ short + 0.73. We also closed the following swing/overnight trades today: JWN Aug. 20 calls short + 1.25. We did not take any new positions as overnight/swing trades today. We still have positions in the following overnight/swing trades: EBAY short (one-third of original position size), THQI short (one-third of original position size), and AOC short (both the equity and bearish option credit spread).
