Fantastic story about your "tutee" (if that's not a word, it should be, although it could also be a person wearing a tutu) I also think children's pictures are important, particularly family and self=portraits.

When we started cleaning Ammo's room last week, some of the pictures we found of men with their heads being blown off, and blood spurting out of hand-less arms and foot-less legs reminded us that the sweetest kids can have strange sides. I do think that that kind of drawing GENERALLY is just an attempt at controlling what frightens them, a safe way to explore the horrors they see around them. He no longer draws these things, but he does write about the dark parts of life in his fiction.

Or maybe Ammo is a very disturbed individual with a great facade.
