It would appear that AMD has some sort of outreach program in which they offer employment to severely brain damaged children - who have been given full control over all aspects of AMD's marketing programs. Someday, perhaps, they will hire a child who has largely recovered from his cranial event, perhaps even provide some adult supervision for those poor idiot children in marketing. But in the meantime.... AMD makes fabulous processors and chipsets. I will be buying a 1.1GHZ A4 notebook as soon as someone offers one. I have $3K budgeted for that purpose. I am also having my work machine (and those of several colleagues) upgraded to Athlon MP systems - we need the fastest compiler performance we can get. I can't wait to start working with those new machines. But AMD's marketing truly sucks.
