Niceguy, About a year ago we had a long discussion on the auto exercising of options and think the tolerance was $.75 back then. I checked with my broker and they said it is not something they do themselves, the options board does it. So appealing against your broker is probably not going to do much good, but worth a try. I hope it was not a large sum. Let us know how you get on.
