Dan, <AMD's marketing truly sucks.> Remember Apple's ads showing, among other things, a Pentium II on a snail and a Bunny Person whose shiny suit catches fire? This was all based on the notion that the G3 was, as they claim, twice as fast as a Pentium II. And that claim was itself based off of one lousy (and easily manipulated) BYTEmark created by a magazine which is now out-of-print, I believe. AMD has more than enough material off of which to base a marketing campaign. They certainly don't need Pete's beloved SciMark or your treasured PiMark to do the job, either. Tenchusatsu
