2nd quarter upside earnings surprise

Anthony, Thanks for your interest. As to the upside surprise, first the worst that can happen to SYMC is another disappointment----- after their Dec. 95 Bomb. Symc knows this and has been in an image rebuilding campain with almost daily news releases to rebuilt investor confidence. They also came out with good first quarter results. But Wall St. said we feel much better BUT do it for the 2nd & 3rd quarter and we will once again be believers. So the last thing Symc needs is to hype up their own earnings too high and RISK missing them. So as you say they will down play them in order to come equal or above, thus keeping their come back plan alive. 2nd go to stock profiles and look up Symc and compare them to their competitors and all their numbers. I think you might not only agree are CHEAP, but they are selling at a 60-70 discount to their peers. 3rd. Symc knows all this and will pull all the stops to do it. 4th If they do you may be looking at a short term rally( with 1 & 2 quarter good earnings) to the 17-19
range with this time only little retracement to 16. and a building process to the end of next quarter to the 18-22 range and if they make or beat that quarter(3rd) a break out to 27-29 by year end.

Let me know what you think.

Frank
