With other Wxxx that I've used ... from time to time, I've had slow hookups occasionally ...well, maybe a tad more than occasionally ... but most of the time I use cable .. but right now, I'm on dialup and it is connected at 45333 on one ISP ... I dialed up the other one I have an account with and it hooked up at the same speed ... perhaps ... and this is just a stab ... try installing *(if you can .. might not have any slots) the PCI modem into a different slot on the MB ... or, if the slots are full, swap out with another card .... I'll think about it some as I prepare for going to visit the sandman ....
