I can't get enough dust off my memory to answer that one. I recall that he would give some to the people around who helped him. I don't think he had a permanent home to store the fish, so maybe he sold them. We're only talking about a few fish a year that he was able to catch that way. It was just a way of life for him. He made me think of "The Old Man and the Sea."
