Gottfried: I made this same argument when all this started years ago. And all the MSFT haters just couldn't see it then so why should they see it now. It is true that if the DOJ had its way Cadillac,Ford,Chrysler,etc. would have to present a selection of third party wheels tires,upholstery,interior trim, tires, radios,speakers,lights, a/c's carpets, mats,mirrors and other components in their dealer showrooms (forget about the parts department) to comply with this present DOJ train of thought. In fact the car represents more egregious bundling than the computer. And all of this would be done for the benefit of the competition not the consumer. The whole thing is mindless. I defy anyone other than a mechanic to take the engine out of a Cadillac and make it fit and work in another car or drive the Caddy body with a VW engine. Can you imagine GM having to run every new model past the court system every fall? We defeated the Commies only to adopt their ways in the wake of that defeat. JFD
