Herb, >But it appears the screwdriver shops are snaking it quite well with cheap processors and motherboards which of course set cheap prices that Gateway, Compaq, HP. etc compete on price with. Not according to that one guy whose tale of woe I imported to this thread, that can't compete with Dell anymore. I wonder if IDC has trend data for the big OEMs vs. the small guys WRT percentage of share in the overall PC market. Tony
