Not true sir. I have friends in LA who's rates were not effected while DWP was selling juice WELL above average. Under what condotion can they justify selling power for such astronomical rates other than taking advantage of the situation? The suppliers who supplied the most, charged the least. Albiet high prices but that's only because we put ourselves in that position.

One of these days I'm going to read "the Bush Plan". Anyone who wants to be informed should do the same. There is a lot of Spincrap out there. I don't like my ideology to blind me to reality. I'm not a big fan of politicians in general but this Bush/Cheney/Big Oil/Big Electron cabal sounds more like political witchhunting/scapegoating to me.

The market conditions we have today were years in the making!!! No one who knows anything about it can deny it.

I believe we need to move, as a nation away from fossil fuels slowly to diminish the economic impact but we must move away. In the meanwhile, the supply must come domestically as much as possible. If Bush only wants us to continue to rely on fossil fuel, I will rename him Fossil Boy.

Cheney's point was there is insufficient capacity to produce electricity no matter the price and therefore the only alternative is a significant number of blackouts. His conclusion has been proven wrong by history and hence his premise.

Let's have him tarred and feathered

That clearly is the only thing that will make you happy. And what shall we do with his predocessor who was in position for 8 years to DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT???

My guess is, you'd like sainthood.
