I hope you like it as much as I did. Did you ever see the movie Pi? Because this book made me think of that movie- without the head drilling (Thank goodness). They both have the very interesting element of Jewish mysticism which I find fascinating. If I taught high school right now I would love to have my kids see the movie and read the book and then write on an essay comparing and/or contrasting the two works. Well if I taught really really accelerated English honors kids, in a high school that would let you show Pi. And there probably is no such place. Because it occurs to me the Jewish themes might be a problem. Sigh.
