When the European Jews not already living in Palestine arrived there after World War II, the area was largely empty.
This is a lie. There were roughly a million Palestinians there.
What is today called Jordan was the historic home of many "Palestinians."
That is a lie. The vast majority of the Palestinian population lived in area currently occupied by Israel. For starters, 700,000 of the million were evicted by Israel in 1948.
And, after all, even the most militant Muslim must concede that the Bible places the land as the historic home of the Jews.
This is not a lie. I just wanted to highlight its silliness. Jews lived there 2000 years ago. Now, some people who are 99% genetically unrelated, but are of the the same religion, want to claim the same land over the indigenous people who have lived there over the millennia.
Last week, when a suicide bomber blew up a Sbarro restaurant in Jerusalem full of kids, killing 15 people and wounding 100, Israel responded by seizing control of some Palestinian military installations.
This is a lie. Israel responded by seizing The Orient House and raising the Israeli flag above it. The Orient House is a quasi-embassy for the Palestinians. This was another blatant attempt to thwart Palestinian statehood. Nadine is continuously ranting about the lack of Palestinain statesmen for Israel to negotiate with, yet Israel does everything in its power to negate such people.

The Orient house: A highly symbolic place and cornerstone of the political presence of the Palestinians in Occupied Jerusalem.
Built in 1897 - at a time when Zionism was being created as a political project and when Jewish immigration to Palestine was developing considerably - this residence continues to be the property of the Husseini's, one of the main families of the Palestinian aristocracy of Jerusalem. It has welcomed important visitors such as Kaiser Wilhelm II in 1900, the Negus of Ethiopia Haile Selassie in 1936 as well as King Abdallah the first, the great grandfather of Jordan’s King Abdallah.
Operating as a nerve center, Orient House also accommodates the different departments of the Arab Studies Society - under which name it functions officially - created in 1979 by the late Faisal Husseini. Orient House has been closed on several occasions by the Israeli authorities, notably from 1988 to 1992 by order of Yitzhak Rabin, then Defense Minister. An Israeli law voted in December 1994 banned the PLO from any political activity in East Jerusalem without the agreement of the Israeli government. However, Israel has also committed itself in secret to a policy of non-interference with the activities of Palestinian institutions in Occupied Jerusalem, although this has not stopped them from regularly threatening Orient House with closure. As for the Palestinians, they invoke the Declaration of Principles (Oslo Agreement) of September 1993, which stipulated that Palestinian institutions established in Occupied Jerusalem before the agreement was signed could continue their activities.
As the PLO's unofficial representation in Occupied Jerusalem, Orient House is the place where foreign personalities passing through the city are welcomed. Successive European Troikas as well as European Foreign Ministers, in their individual capacities, have always made it a point of honor - unlike the American Secretary of State - to visit Orient House when they are in Occupied Jerusalem, although the Israeli authorities do everything in their power to prevent these visits. During the French President Jacques Chirac's tour of the Middle East in October 1996 his Foreign Minister preferred not to accompany him during this stage of the visit rather than to break with protocol because of the obstacles put in place by the Israelis. It was finally the French State Secretary for Health who visited Orient House. More recently, the Israeli authorities put pressure on Klaus Heinsch, visiting in November 1996 in his capacity as President of the European Parliament, not to go there. Also in November 1996, the Troika passing through Tel-Aviv on its way to the Palestinian territories, confronted with the same obstacles, refused to meet Mr. Netanyahu and Mr. Levy and made their transit through Israel into a purely technical stop-over.

And yet, night after night, the American media feel compelled to list Israel's unintended casualties alongside Yasser Arafat and Hamas' intended casualties.
This is the biggest lie of all. Night after night, the American media harps on Palestinina terrorists killing Israeli civilians, while blithely ignoring the Israeli provocatory actions. In fact, the last thing the American media would ever do is list the body count side by side, because Palestinians are dying in much greater numbers.
This article, despite its numerous intentional misstatements, is reprehensible mostly because of its moral stance. It is saying, in essence, that since the U.S. treated its indigenous population poorly a long time ago, we should now support (militarily and politically) this same behavior for the rest of time. An analogy is that Germany should have supported the ethnic cleansing in Rwanda, feeding weapons and money, and blocking the world from intervention, simply because it has the legacy of the Holocaust. This is typical Zionist thinking.
