FYI: Where the Laforza fits in amongst the current and various SUV offerings...:

The current inventory of new Laforza's (..not including the 2002+ prototype..) are priced in the $43-to-60K(+/-) range.

Considering that the Laforzas will "..blow the doors off.." the competition in handling and pulling power (..not including the Hummer at $90K+..), the prices are very reasonable - as they relate to the so-called competition.

Like everything else, the price differences are in the power plants, interior options, special features and/or armor.

The fancy-schmancy Bimmer and M-B "..me-too.." SUV's in that price range will probably never see anything more challenging than a gravel driveway at a lake house; and certainly have no where near the towing capability of a Supercharged 5.0 Litre V8, etc.

Lincoln's Navigator and the big GM Yukon/Escalade might come close; but not in maneuverability - or coming home with no scrapes on the paint from snug confines - IMHO.

Anyone interested should contact the Sales Manager, Bob Miller, and get a brochure/CD/VHS for their personal review. laforza.com (800) 423-6792

John :-)

ps: Helluva deal, to buy into a functional and growing auto manufacturer for under $0.02/share. DYODD........!!
