Universal Express, Inc. -USXP- To Change Its Name To
Universal Holdings, Inc.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 21, 2001--Universal Express, Inc. (OTC:USXP - news) today announced its intention to change its
name to Universal Holdings, Inc., effective Sept. 1, 2001.

``This new holding company will facilitate our future programs for acquisitions, financings and strategic alliances,'' said Richard A. Altomare,
Chairman of USXP.

Universal Holdings will be headquartered at offices in Rockefeller Center, N.Y.

A new operating subsidiary to be named ``Universal Express, Inc.'' will be based at administrative offices in Boca Raton, Fla. Other operating
subsidiaries in the private postal, logistics, shipping and transportation businesses will become subsidiaries and divisions of Universal Express, with
operating and administrative offices in Boca Raton and Centereach, N.Y.

Universal (USXP) operates several other subsidiaries in logistics (Luggage Express(TM)) and International shipping (WorldPost). Its association
of private postal stores (PBC) provides various support services and numerous other programs to its members.
