The gain in bookings sounds potentially significant at 5%, but I believe the number should be put into perspective in terms of actual dollar value. Let's look at the change in bookings over the six months prior to the point we flattened out in the $700 million range: Mar-01 to Apr-01: -$476 Million Feb-01 to Mar-01: -$414 Million Jan-01 to Feb-01: -$243 Million Dec-00 to Jan-01: -$518 Million Nov-00 to Dec-00: -$335 Million Oct-00 to Nov-00: -$286 Million Now this month the bookings increase $37 Million and the description of the change is "Strong."
