" when virtually all 1GHz Tbirds are overclockable way beyond that)."

Not true. I have a 1GHz Athlon, stepping AJHA of recent manufacture. I suspect that this is a Austin, rather than a Dresden chip. The most recent Dresden chips are the AY whatevers, apparently the successors to the famous AXIA. Anyway, my AJHA doesn't get much beyond 1.1GHz. I later got my hands on a 1GHz AXIA with a '9' not a 'Y' on the line after, and it easily goes to a tad over 1.3GHz. For what ever reason, the Al chips do not overclock as well as the Cu chips.
