Ted, most here don't feel happy unless AMD has faster speeds then INTC. Faster performance isn't good enough.

Considering how the whole economy is in the crapper. It's nice to see someone who agrees with my point about not releasing new products right now.


Milo, and one other point, margins are so soft, AMD and Intel are nearly giving away the chips. Recently, I bought 256 mgs of RAM for $50 retail from the local screwdriver shop. If I remember correctly, the price was around $150 two years ago. The slowdown in PC sales has made PC related chips so cheap, they've become blue light specials. ;~))

Even after the slowdown ends, I don't think margins will be anywhere near where they were before.
