Thanks for your reply Sid. I have now received the package from ERC. I generally agree with you, particularly wrt to value of ERC compared to Ballard.

One thing worries me connected with passing a gas over an electrode of large surface area at high temperature: it seems a recipe for local overheating and buckling of plates. But then, there must be some technical problems, or the cells would already be online - unless of course they could never be economic.

A lesser question: the gas is presumably not completely oxidized in one pass over the electrode and is recirculated. Is this so, and, if so, is the CO2 removed before recirculation?

I know these questions are not your forte Sid, I'm just throwing them out. I may call the co. myself - after looking again at their package.
