B: CBQ Announces Distributor Arrangement with Chinese Computer Producer

BEIJING, China & HUNT VALLEY, Md., Aug 22, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- CBQ, Inc.
(OTCBB:CBQI) announced today that it has become a distributor in the United
States for Superior Computer Corporation, the fifth-largest computer producer in
China. Superior is based in Beijing, China.

The distributor relationship covers the entire line of computers produced in
China, including personal computers, laptop computers, and personal digital
assistants.

While several Chinese producers have sold computer components to the U.S.
market, including motherboards and monitors, this is the first generalized
Chinese distribution effort for finished computers in the United States.

China exported nearly one million computers (mostly to Asia and Europe) in the
first half of 2000, a significant 665% increase over 1999, indicating that it is
poised for further export growth. The value of the computers exported from China
in the first half of 2000 was $384.9 million. China produced an estimated 5
million computers in 2000.

"We are very pleased to be working with CBQ," said Zhang Jian Jun, President,
Superior Computer Corporation. "We believe the United States is a promising
market and that American consumers will appreciate the quality of our products."

"CBQ will do its best to develop the American computer market for Superior,"
said Bart S. Fisher, Chairman and CEO of CBQ. "Once again, as in software
outsourcing through our ChinaSoft affiliate, CBQ has secured the first mover
advantage in China."
