I just read a news release on Globalstar that they will only have 40
satellites in the air by the end of 1998. Service won't begin until
early 1999. Falling behind schedule already? If you are correct that
a couple of million subscribers in six months with brand new equipment
and employees then Iridium won't have to worry about Globalstar, they
will be filled to capacity before Globalstar even turns on the switch.
On the matter of "bugs", I don't know of any techonological innovation
that did'nt have a few to be corrected after it hit the marketplace!
