Hey! You calling me lazy? So now I'm a lazy, lonely, misogynist, phobe???

My take is this and it is my own take. There are people who think that matters such as truth, justice and principle are not incapable of determination on a regular basis and that these concepts do not vary that much and are not unique to individuals, in essence that these are issues which must be resolved by a reference to factors larger than ourselves as individuals. These PMP people have confidence that they are able to fairly regularly identify truth, justice, etc. and strive to live by those concepts. Often this means that certain outcomes that might be convenient or feel good or provide short term pleasure or gain must be forgone because they violate such principles. These are people who feel it is possible to make judgments about the behavior and/or acts of others and who see nothing wrong or evil in making such judgments because they are constrained by principles like mercy, justice, etc... These are people who see no evil in defending the constancy of such principles as truth, justice, etc. because not to do so, renders such ideas, very important ideas, meaningless. I would boil it down somewhat to say these are the type of people who are inclined to see things in the world as more in black and white tones, that in life, there are certain boundaries or lines which should not be crossed for the good of family or friends or all on the planet.

Then there are the OP people. These are the people who claim that there is no constancy, there are no immutable principles, etc. These are the people who see no issues larger than themselves and their convenience. These are the people who have decided for us all that nothing can ever be decided with certainty. That we can never be sure that PMP determined "truth" is "the" truth or justice or whatever. Therefore, when PMPs make such judgments they are capable of being ridiculed, derided and labeled as intolerant or phobic, etc. by OPs. The OPs are focused on self and by fuzzing up all the issues, OPs retain the right to act selfishly while claiming selflessness, to act intolerantly while claiming tolerance and so on. Its Orwellian. To the OP there are no issues larger than self. No one can ever understand anything and all principles are evanescent

I'm sure I may have more to add as I consider this further..
