Steve:Ido not know the specifics of the situation. In my days, a sufficient excuse to grant a loan or bonus would be toretain a valuable executive. In most corporations checks of this size require more than one signatory and appropriate "paperwork" to back the writing of the check. It that "paperwork" was missing, then the signatories did not discharge their responsibilities. Is that what happened? I do not know. I am waiting for you to give us the gory details. Zeev
