Yes, it was name-calling, by definition. There can hardly be any doubt about that! -- it even used an actual name! I hope the basis for the comparison was made clear enough so that it didn't seem at all gratuitous, but simply like fair comment and an apt comparison, in the specific, narrow way in which I made it. I made no comparison of JLA or others to Clinton in their behavior toward interns, for example, or in the selling of pardons, or in being a rapist. Only of their convenient use of 'interpretation' of plain words to evade responsibility for them was referenced. A Clinton hallmark. I'll look for Jeff's post. Did he mention self-serving snide cracks not containing names, or just names? Did he mention lying about what people have said about themselves in a way that demonizes them without using a name, or just names? I'll go check.
