AGA refuses to release the name of "the company" (note singular) that caused the revision. ------------------------------------------------------------ quote.bloomberg.com The revision to last week's report came in the AGA's Consuming East region, which covers gas-storage operators in the East and Midwest. A company in the region submitted a revision to its own storage levels after the AGA had already published its report, said Paul Pierson, who oversees the survey as the AGA's manager of statistics. The AGA's policy is to wait until the following week's report to publish any revisions, Pierson said. The change in last week's inventory total was the largest ever caused by a company submitting revised information. AGA officials declined to identify the company that submitted the revision. ``They'll never tell you who that is, but the question is, does that company have a large energy marketing and trading company that could have potentially made huge profits on this?'' said Daryl Brown, an energy trader at Williams Cos. in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the second-largest U.S. pipeline company. ``There's going to be a lot of people calling for regulation of the AGA.
