If he had ever believed that, Microsoft Bob taught him
a big lesson. Computer users, even novices, will not
trade power for ease-of-use. They want both.

Also, the claim that Microsoft never innovated anything
is not only wrong, it's irrelevant. Heck, no one ever
derided Toyota for making derivative automobiles.
It's the Apples and Netscapes of the world, too proud
to acknowledge a good idea, wherever its source,
that become historical footnotes.
