I think the biggest lie in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge destruction program is the implication that only 2000 square miles are to be affected. Only the actual land under a drilling rig is to be counted in that assesment. Not roads, not buildings, not worker beer halls, not garbage dumps. Just the actual land under the drilling site which is less than a square mile so there can be thousands of different drilling sites connected by roads and large dumps full of dead caribou fawn.
