Tim,

You have a far better chance of getting hit by lightning than winning the jackpot in a lottery. BTW, one is approx. 50 times more likely to be hit by lightning than bit by a shark. Just a plug for Florida. A regular lottery, generally, has odds of about 14 million to 1. I, sometimes, will put down a couple of bucks, not expecting to win a dime, but there is always an extremely remote possibility. I don't hold my breath waiting for the drawing.
