Oh, gee, I am part Canadian, too, ancestors in one of those big family trees that goes back umpteen generations. Also Minnesota. So should I say "eh" or "you betcha"?

Or are they cancelled out by the Brits, the Irish, the French, the Cajuns, the Croatians, the Germans, and the American Indians?

When my kids were in grammar school, every year there was a day to come dressed as someone in your ancestral heritage. I always sent them to school dressed normally, and told them to tell everyone that they were Americans.;^)
