The nasdaq goes down 50% and VLNC down 75% and you take comfort in that because they are going in the same direction? That is regarded as positive correlation. In general, equities are positively correlated Yoest.

Somebody must have forgotten to tell you that the idea is to own stocks that outperform their peers. Do you know what convoluted means? If not, look it up. Your reasoning is convoluted.

VLNC, the stock, underperforms the market because the company, measured by objective fundamental metrics, has consistently disappointed relative to the vast majority of companies in the market. Give it up yoest, you are making yourself appear to be sillier and sillier.
