Yeah, everyone wants to take a happy pill and make it all go away....us Yanks have lost our patience with longer, drawn-out, complicated conclusions to difficult problems (I'm surprised Congress hasn't passed a law against recessions...after all, no one seems to like them; outlawing such has no political downside; and hey, why do we need them anyway? Why can't we just grow at 4% forever with Uncle Al's monopoly money..) Like the movies, everyone wants a quick, simple ending where the good guy always wins...instant gratification... That's Hollywood for ya'..too bad that's not reality... (There's a column in here somewhere dying to get out-g)
