Ah!!, you were out west ? Yes, they actually have higher speed limits out there because people do obey them.
I was just out there this summer. Those Rockies are gorgeous. Twenty years ago I think Ontarians still obeyed the limits too, but us Montréalais have always had a reputation to maintain :o).

If you come to Ontario or Québec though, especially on the big 400 series highways in Ontario, expect to see much speeding.
