Yes! I live in Alaska now, but the best scenery I've ever seen is in the Canadian Rockies.

Later on the trip we drove the Cassiar Highway down thru BC while they were paving it for the first time. After weeks bouncing on gravel roads, I hit a newly-paved stretch and was cruising smoothly through the pristine wilderness at 80mph before I realized it and checked my speed.

I still vividly recollect the endless forests of really huge trees along that road. No wonder BC is all hopped up about this lumber tariff Bush just slapped on. I wish Bush had taken up the Canadian proposal to negotiate this issue rather than acting unilaterally.
