Now here's an indicator you that's got a 30 year history of being correct. What I like to see is a high put/call ratio along with unanimous agreement (by the experts*) that something is going to happen. I would bet against it every time.

Like right now the put/call ratio on tech stocks is abnormally high. The question is...what will be the pivot point that will turn this around? A large majority of opinions (the talking heads) is that the Nasdaq is headed lower, and that the recovery is somewhere in the middle of next year. Could they all be wrong????most assuredly.

Reasonable option plays for today: I would buy some ORCL and CSCO leaps...Jan 03 the strikes would be 15 for ORCL and 17 1/2 foe CSCO. I usually follow my own advice.

note: exactly what is a swing trade? Is that when you gain momentum with the upward swing of the stock or is that when the swing comes back and hits you in the head??...: -)
