Hi greg, (OT on Tasmania)
Early last year, by using www.phonenumbers.net, I located a long lost pen-pal in Tasmania, with whom I have had no contact for 48 years. In Mary's last letter back in 1952, she started to talk about David, so I must have decided that 'I am out of here'. If she had not had a brother, my search would have been much more difficult.
You may remember that we were still on 'Cloud Nine' last year (feeling well off), so we treated Mary and David to a three week vacation at our home in July. We also visited Hollywood, Yosemite, Death Valley, Grand Canyon etc. and had a great time. So, now we are going down under for a three week visit, with a one week side trip to the Melbourne area.
We are focusing on not leaving too much for the children and grandchildren. Do they deserve any inheritance? I feel that it should be earned, but I don't see them pulling weeds in our backyard! The kids now-a-days are being spoiled rotten.
