A warning from "An Observer"

The following is an unusual post in Motley Fools' board, written by someone both longs and shorts are not familiar with:

I have been reading notes about this security for some months and would like to add a few important thoughts from a very interested observer.

From my observations over time, federal regulators don't like to hurt innocent investors with small holdings without some notice. But recent stories in several well-read business publications along with filings related to the security in question should have made all shareholders aware of the reported investigations. These notices should have allowed those who were concerned about such risk to sell their shares if they deem that prudent.

And recent filings have been made regarding the total number of shares owned and managed by the principals in the stock. Earnings amendments have also been made to follow accounting standards. The stock has run up since these notifications. I believe officials may have some concerns about the gambling air that seems to surround this security and may have also lost some patience when the security was named as a very favorable investment by one of the principals concerned.

Perhaps in view of the potential problems that any indictments or regulatory actions might cause the stock price, there may be some added risk related to owning this security.
