Sam and Gregor:
He already knows what is going on, but we are supposed to ask. He knows what we need, but we are told to approach Him with everything. He will use the situation to build trust and character qualities, that are from Him. He is the potter and we are the clay. I can identify with all of this.
I gave up my last job that I really loved, because my boss was doing things that I disagreed with. I dealt with it for as long as possible. I was there for ten days short of 7.5 years, longer than most people. I loved the Company, but knew that I had to give it to God, to deal with. I really believe that God will give me what is best for me. I am on great terms with the people in the Company and the owner's son who is like a little brother, so I know I can rejoin them and do something different, in God's time. It worked out well, because we had just built a new building and the commute was 45 minutes each way in traffic, so it was important to spend more time with my son.
Security is high on everyone's list, but God knows that, and we are never more secure than when we are in His care, which actually is "always." He will work this all for His good, which is for your good. We can trust Him. Westi |
